Hello, I’m Emily Atherton (MIT), a qualified Trichologist and proud Member of the Institute of Trichologists. With over 20 years’ experience in the hairdressing industry and as the owner of Emily Atherton Hair Design, I bring a wealth of practical knowledge, care, and understanding to every patient I see.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with clients to help them feel their best — but over time, I increasingly recognised the emotional and psychological impact that hair and scalp concerns can have. This realisation, combined with a deep desire to offer more specialised support, led me to pursue professional training in Trichology.
I trained with the highly respected Institute of Trichologists, based on Harley Street in London, where I gained detailed clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills. This advanced training enables me to assess, manage, and support a wide range of hair and scalp conditions with both scientific expertise and a compassionate approach.
